Chocorat

Meet Chocorat. He's not related to Chococat. Chocorat's name is really Chocolat, as in the French for chocolate, but since the Japanese pronounce L's like R's, his name is Chocorat. Chocorat spends many of his days at The Market, a café in Okayama City that has freshly squeezed juices and organic baked breads and pastries. His mom is the owner of The Market and a store across the street that sells organic fruits and vegetables.

I had the fortune of sitting at a table that Chocorat was sitting under. Chocorat had the fortune of a shared cheese cake bite landing on the floor. A few minutes later I felt a nudge nudge against my leg from Chocorat's nose. Several minutes later it happened again. Nudge nudge.
